The girls’ basketball season got off to a rough start for Brattleboro and Leland & Gray. The two teams were in the Leland & Gray Tip-Off Tournament and both lost their opening games in the tourney on Dec. 10. The Burr & Burton Bulldogs nipped Brattleboro in a 36-35 .
