The Rutgers women’s lacrosse program earned its biggest victory in program history on Friday.
The No. 16 Scarlet Knights picked up their first ever NCAA Tournament win, defeating No. 10 Drexel, 16-13, in their first round meeting at LaValle Stadium in Stony Brook, New York.
The result advances Rutgers into the second round of the competition, where it will meet 8-seed Stony Brook at noon on Sunday.
