Around 12 a.m., Public Safety Communications received a call about a man-down near the intersection of West Pembroke Avenue and North Back River Road. Officers located a 17-year-old male victim who had been struck by gunfire. He was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said. The preliminary investigation revealed the victim was shot by an unknown suspect while walking in the area of West Pembroke Avenue. ....

At approximately 2:49 a.m., Public Safety Communications received a call in reference to a walk-in shooting victim at a local hospital. When officers arrived at the hospital, they found a 26-year-old man who had been struck by gunfire and dropped off at the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Dispatchers received the call around 9:31 a.m. When officers arrived on scene, they found the 22-year-old man who had been shot. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment, and his injuries are said to be non-life-threatening. The motive and circumstances surrounding this shooting are still under investigation.
