Authorities initially believed the report would be available in late March or April. Guernsey County Dog Warden Karla Kerns said the Department of Agriculture is working with another agency to finalize the report. That report is why the trial was continued, said Kerns. The Daily Jeffersonian The Cambridge man accused of abandoning nearly a dozen dogs in horrible living conditions at a Franklin Avenue residence has surrendered ownership of the animals to the Guernsey County Dog Shelter. Gregory Graham Sr., 46, of Cambridge, has surrendered the 10 dogs and one puppy. Graham faces six counts of prohibition of companion animals and three counts of abandoning animals. A trial date is scheduled for May 5 in the municipal court. He was taken into custody at a Southgate Parkway hotel the day after charges were filed. Guernsey County Dog Warden Karla Kerns said she expects the dogs will be available for adoption in the near future. They are currently being monitored by a Kerns and a local veterinarian. ....
