Helen man charged in Hall County child molestation case

A Helen man was arrested last week in connection to a child molestation. Kale Eugene Ramey Jr, 19, is facing child molestation charges in the case that occurred between March and October of 2019 at a home on Sardis Road, the Hall County Sheriff s Office said in a media release. Ramey allegedly molested the female victim, who is under 16, on multiple occasions. The crime was reported to the Sheriff s Office on October 23, 20202 by Hall County Division of Family and Children Services. After a series of interviews, an arrest warrant was obtained. Ramey was arrested and booked on January 27, and he remains in the Hall County Jail as of Monday afternoon with a $12,630 bond.

A Buford man was arrested Thursday evening by Hall County Sheriff’s Office Deputies and is facing cruelty to children charges after he reportedly injured his infant son. According to a press release from the Sheriff’s Office, an investigation determined that 34-year-old Bryan Oswaldo Morales caused fractures to both of the baby’s legs. The release states the incident happened on Wednesday, Jan. 13, at Morales’ home in the 5,000 block of Magnolia Way in Buford. Investigators believe Morales was home alone with the baby on Wednesday. When the baby’s mother returned home Wednesday evening, she took the baby to the emergency room after seeing him in distress, according to the release.

Bryan Oswaldo Morales, 34, was arrested Thursday evening, Jan. 14, and is charged with one count each of first and second-degree cruelty to children, the Hall County Sheriff s Office said. Derreck Booth, a spokesman for the Hall County Sheriff s Office, said the condition of the child is unknown. The sheriff s office said the incident occurred Wednesday, Jan. 13, at Morales home in the 5000 block of Magnolia Way in Buford.
