Plainview PD investigating string of vehicle thefts FacebookTwitterEmail Plainview police are currently investigating a string of vehicle burglaries reported Friday morning. Police reported eight cases of theft from vehicles – in addition to a trespassing and damaged property callout – early Friday. According to a news release from the City of Plainview, the thefts were reported in residential areas of Vernon, Utica, Itasca and Holliday Streets. The investigation is in the early stages and Plainview PD had no updates as of early Friday afternoon.
