BKU leader Rakesh Tikait GHAZIABAD: Alleging that the central government was trying to drive a wedge between farmers, BKU leader Rakesh Tikait on Thursday said their unions would remain united and also warned of a ‘hal kranti’, or ‘plough revolution’, in Delhi if the deadlock on the new agriculture laws drags on. Addressing mahapanchayats at Kharak Punia and Balsamand villages in Haryana’s Hisar district, Tikait said, “No one should live under the impression that the farmers will return to their villages or that the protest will end in two months. If the need arises, we will plan a ‘hal kranti’ in the capital. The farmers are the same as the ones who participated in the tractor rally on January 26, and so are the tractors.” ....
