Sallah: Police, FRSC deploy officers, ram theft rises in Kogi

Ahead of the Eid-El-Kabir celebration, the Edo State Police Command says it has deployed over 3,000 men to secure lives and properties in the state during the celebration.
It said attention would also be focused on the Benin-Auchi Road which it said had become a den of kidnappers in the state.
The state police spokesman, Kontongs Bello, in a statement on Friday said, “In the light of this celebration, the command put in place adequate security measures in ensuring the security of lives and property of all Muslims and the general public during and after the celebration to curtail the activities of criminal elements bent on making life difficult for law-abiding citizens. ....
