2-Year-Old s Lost Buzz Lightyear Toy Gets Tour of Airport Before Being Reunited With Excited Toddler

Playing Buzz Lightyear went on the adventure of a lifetime thanks to his 2-year-old buddy Hagen Davis. Buzz ended up getting the royal treatment from staff members at SouthWest Airlines after little Hagen left his friend, Buzz, behind on a recent flight. Hagen and his family were flying from Little Rock, Arkansas to Texas for a funeral that included a layover when Ashely Davis, Hagen’s mom, realized that Buzz was missing. “It was a very hectic trip,” Davis said. “I was jumping on a plane with a 2-year-old.” Davis said she went through her backpack and realized that Buzz was missing. I really didn t do my due diligence as being the mom to triple check that everything was with this,” she said.

Boy s Toy Returned With Extras!

By Wayne - Not Everything Sucks Desk Mar 17, 2021 Hagen Davis left his beloved Buzz Lightyear toy on a Southwest flight from Sacramento to Dallas, and a couple of Southwest staffer went above and beyond to make it right. The toy was found by operations agent Beth Buchanan. She noticed the name “Hagen” written on the bottom of the toy. She could have just put it in the lost and found bin, but Buchanan instead checked the passenger list. Her colleague, Jason Hamm, saw the toy on her desk, and decided to have it returned in epic style. While waiting for the Davis family to respond to his email asking for a mailing address, Hamm took the toy on a photo taking tour of the airport, snapping shots of Buzz in front of planes, engines and even in the cockpit. Then he wrote a letter to Hagen that said:

Meet Hagen, a two-year-old boy who was recently traveling with his family to a funeral in Dallas with his amazing Buzz Lightyear toy. As you might have guessed, traveling with kids is always hectic, and the family had other things on their mind, so the tiny toy was, unfortunately, left behind. “When we landed, I thought I had gathered all our belongings and we headed to the rental car,” explained Ashley Davis, mother of 2-year-old Hagen, in an interview with Bored Panda. “It was until we were in the rental Hagen started frantically asking for his Buzz and I quickly realized that we did not have Buzz and he was still on the plane.”
