CS:GO bug: This CS: GO bug can let hackers take full control over your PC - Gaming News


Hackers have found a new critical bug in Steam’s game engine which powers several Valve titles including Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO).
With the new bug, hackers can take control of users systems by simply sending them CS: GO invite links to play the online multiplayer shooter.
The bug was first discovered by a hacking group The Secret Club. As per a video posted by them on their official Twitter handle, the bug is affecting Steam’s invite system where players click on the Invite to play option in CS:GO and hackers can acquire private details and information of those who accept the invite. ....

Inhibitor181 (aka Cosmin) is the first bug bounty hunter to earn more than $2,000,000 in bounty awards through the vulnerability coordination and bug bounty program HackerOne.
HackerOne says that Cosmin was also the 7th hacker to reach $1 million in earnings in just two years, as announced 334 days ago.
He was able to get to the 7-figure payout mark by bringing in roughly $300,000 in bounties over just 90 days. 
The first millionaire hacker, 19-year-old Argentinian Santiago Lopez, was announced by HackerOne in March 2019, one year after he started to learn about hacking as a 16-year-old. ....
