Other members of the 32-person crew on the Barokah Jaya fishing boat were evacuated and taken to hospital after Saturday s crash with the Habco Pioneer bulk carrier. Both vessels are Indonesian-flagged. One of the victims corpses was found stuck in a fishing net and the other in the vessel, 50 metres from the Habco Pioneer, Indonesia s search and rescue agency Basarnas said. ....

A fishing ship hit a larger cargo vessel yesterday evening off Indramayu regency, flipping the wooden boat’s 32 crew members into the water, said Bandung rescue agency spokeswoman Seni Wulandari. “Some 15 survivors have been evacuated to the cargo vessel but the team is still searching for 17 other crew who went missing,” Wulandari told AFP today. Those rescued sustained minor injuries from the accident and would be taken to a nearby hospital, she added. ....
