Doda, June 16 (Scoop News)-As a part of the ongoing campaign of Intensified Diarrhoea Control Fortnight (IDCF) 2023, the health department organized an awareness programme at Block Assar District Doda on 15-06-2023.

The programme was held under the dynamic supervision of CMO Doda Dr Ab Hamid Zargar and guidance of BMO Assar Dr Tanveer Ahmed.

During the programme, the health team thoroughly explained the cause of diarrhoea among the children and local population besides explained about the precautionary measures, interventions and preparation of ORS at home and its uses.

Elaborating further, the team said that the ultimate aim of Intensified Diarrhoea Control Fortnight is to achieve zero child deaths due to childhood diarrhoea.

The health department stressed on more awareness campaigns, so that the rate of child mortality due to diarrhoea can be brought down to the minimum level.
