It’s nestled opposite a row of big brand showrooms that bring its modest façade into sharp contrast. But looks can be clearly deceptive, as I find out, once the library’s sole guardian – Mr GRJ Gupta – opens the shutters for me. The cramped library is a treasure trove of colourful magazines for the quintessential housewife, self-help books, paperbacks, psychology did-you-knows, business-related tomes, classic whodunnits, comic strips, and cook-books.
