OLD ORCHARD BEACH – Robert J. Guerette, 94, and Theresa F. (Leclerc) Guerette, 90, of Old Orchard Beach, are reunited, having passed away peacefully at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House less a month apart. Robert was born on Dec. 31, 1926 in St. Quentin, New Brunswick, Canada in Restigouche County, the son of the late Thomas and Euphemie (Picard) Guerette. His family moved to the United States during his childhood where Robert begin working as a young man before entering the United States Army to serve in WWII. For his efforts and dedication while in the military, he was awarded a WWII Victory Medal.Theresa was born in Westbrook in Cumberland County on Nov. 5, 1930, a daughter of the late Albeni and Octavi (Beaudoin) Leclerc.
