According to a notification, there will be a complete ban on indoor marriage functions and other in all districts where the percentage of coronavirus infection is more than eight percent. Under the extended lockdown, the already announced restrictions will be implemented till May 17. The restrictions will be implemented in all districts hit severely by coronavirus. The train services will continue with 70 percent occupancy. All business activities and markets will be shut at 6pm daily and for the entire day on Saturday and Sunday. ....

Lockdown expanded in five districts Punjab records 36 more deaths from coronavirus LAHORE: By coronavirus raising the toll in Punjab to 3,558, the government has imposed smart lockdown in more areas of Lahore, Rawalpindi, Gujarat, Gujranwala and Hafizabad in view of increasing cases of the disease. At least 584 new cases of coronavirus were reported in the province on Saturday, raising the total number to 130,706. According to Secretary of Primary and Secondary Healthcare Captain (retd) Muhammad Usman, smart lockdown is being imposed in areas where the number of people testing positive for novel coronavirus is higher.
