Vadodara: A man who was arrested in Gujarat for allegedly harassing a woman, breathed his last when he was under custody. Soon after the man s death, his family claimed that he was tortured by the cops when he was in custody.
The deceased was identified as Mahesh Padhiyar. Padhiyar was a resident of Bajwa village near Vadodara. He was detained and taken to the Jawaharnagar police station. He breathed his last in custody and his family accepted the body only after the post-mortem was conducted.
