Following, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD received, via teleconference, Queensland Youth Orchestras, Board President, Mr Ian Walker, General Manager Mr Geoff Rosbrook, and Music Director, Mr Simon Hewett.

Following, at Australian Red Cross Lifeblood Brisbane Donor Centre, Brisbane City, Her Excellency donated blood.

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency greeted staff from the Office of the Speaker visiting for a guided tour of the House and Gardens.

Following, at the Embroiderer's Guild Heritage Building, Fortitude Valley, Her Excellency viewed the Embroiderer's Guild Biennial Exhibition.

Following, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo departed Government House for Official Travel to Melbourne.
