Apenas se dio a conocer el martes 13 de julio pasado la muerte de Mario Álvaro Cartagena López, la noticia se convirtió en una onda expansiva de llanto y dolor entre toda su familia, amigos y conocidos. Tan sorpresiva fue la partida de quien era más conocido como “El Guaymas”, que muchos se niegan a aceptar que ya no esté con nosotros y pase a ser polvo de estrellas.
Sin ser el único, probablemente “El Guaymas” era el exguerrillero mexicano más conocido y querido. Era inevitable no querer a una persona tan buena, honesta, solidaria, congruente y que siempre provocaba risas y alegría por su modo jubiloso de encarar la vida, así fuera contando episodios dolorosos y desgarradores, como las veces que padeció la tortura en las mazmorras de la policía política y en los cuarteles militares. ....

Researchers in the Nanoscience Center of University of Jyvaskyla, in Finland and in the Guadalajara University in Mexico developed a method that allows for simulation and visualization of magnetic-field-induced electron currents inside gold nanoparticles.
