Scottish distillers Eden Mill has announced a new partnership with French drinks group La Martiniquaise-Bardinet (LM-B Group). The deal will see France’s second-largest spirit company take on the UK distribution rights for Eden Mill’s gin portfolio to multiple grocers from next week.
The deal is expected to drive growth for Eden Mill, increasing the presence of its drinks in supermarkets and other retailers across the UK. The development coincides with the company’s recently increased capacity at its new bottling and distribution hub in Glasgow, where Eden Mill can process four million bottles per annum.
From Monday, the LM-B Group will begin communications for the distribution of Eden Mill gin, gin liqueurs and RTDs. This will include a repositioning of Love Gin; the premium pink gin will be made available for the first time to the off-trade in a 70cl bottle. Currently, Eden Mill only supplies Love Gin in 50cl bottles to the off-trade. ....
