Lets remove that and make that not a problem any more. Lets revise how we think about fare increases. I get where that rationale may have been attractive 10 years ago. It doesnt make sense now. Lets move forward to figure out how to stabilize m. T. A. Without doing that on the backs of our most vulnerable riders. A couple months ago you werent clear. Now you will not increase fares during the recovery or pandemic . I would like to look at weighs to avoid doing that in the future. I dont want to increase them now or going forward. Struggles people are going through from friends from family members and from the community. While San Francisco has been a leader in the fight against this pandemic, everyday we suffer losses. People are losing their jobs, people are losing their grip on their Mental Health. Worst of all, people are losing family members to this disease.
