In a statement, AIUDF president Badruddin Ajmal said, The unscrupulous traders are taking advantage of the COVID-19 pandemic, possibility of lockdown, and Ramadan. The State government didn t take strict measures and due to their irresponsibility, the prices of essential commodities have surged by three times. The AIUDF alleged that some government officials are also involved with unscrupulous traders.
