actually target people who might not have enough to eat in our otherwise affluent nation with this, quote, war on food stamps. we should be taking people from welfare to work we shouldn t be paying people to sit on the couch. if joe biden won t do that, what he s defending are the couch potatoes over hard working americans. it s an attack on food assistance, or what they call food stamps. it comes after the covid era had this extra bit of aid and it seems you may recall we reported on a mile long line of cars in kentucky which were backed up because a ton of people needed to go to the food bank because that people live on the edge of food insecurity. it s a hunger cliff that experts sayface, especially when there s any risk to basically their grocery money. food pantries across the state report low food supplies for multiple reasons including inflation and supply chain
and the president in his own way that you do write about, not even being able to really show any kind of compromise and empathy, saying, well, you know, i can do an emergency act. like, well, then, why didn t you do that, rather than having 800,000 people impacted and 800,000 people that are now not only getting their check late, but can t buy gas. soon the gas money runs out. soon the grocery money comes out. you can t write a letter to the grocer or the gas station attendant saying they ll be paid sooner or later. you may, and that s in quotes, do what a landlord or a mortgage-holder. in the mill of this, trump just can t stop acting like trump. right. well, i think he s completely disinterested in the fate of all
