repeal it and you could put the enactment date a year down the road or pick a specific date. washington, d.c. operates on deadlines. and so whether you have an actual deadline, i think that would actually compel a lot more actions. otherwise, they are just going to continue to get what they have had so far. ainsley: we have had heard some different deadlines. mitch mcconnell saying not going to happen until after the fourth. yesterday we were saying about trying to get this done by friday, which is today before the fourth of july holiday. what is the deadline and when can we expect something? well, i think those are artificial deadlines. i do think these things take a long time to come about. it s really about seven months late. i mean, i was led to believe in the house that we were going to accelerate our time in the house in january that the goal was to put the bill on the president s desk when he was sworn in. so it is a bit tardy in terms of putting it on the president s desk but

[cheers] ainsley: is he from south carolina? pete: we just found that out. steve: last year folds of honor down in the tulsa area. that was one of the most emotional things i have ever seen on the fox news channel. tell us what you did for that family of the fallen soldier. folds of honor. takes care of the families, fallen soldiers. i had heard kind of from ginger, she is a recipient of some of folds of honor and they had sold their truck before troy went overseas to just it will until he got back. he never came back. she told me she had a connection to drive your truck. she wishes she had never sold the truck. i thought we got to get that truck back. steve: how did you find the truck? a lot of friends, a lot of the folks. a lot of help. we found the truck. it was cool because the day we gave it back to them. the kid was 16, just got his
license, and it was his daddy s truck and his daddy s truck. it was really cool to be a part of it. ainsley: crying. so emotional. to be there was so special. pete: lee, coming up on the fourth of july weekend. what does it mean to you. man, everything. it s like every day i just thank god for my healthy family and our freedoms and for what i have every day. i mean, i got a brand new baby girl. pete: congratulations. knowing the world she can grow up in because the folks taking care of us. ainsley: hohow old is she? three and a half weeks old. ainsley: are you getting any sleep. i m getting sleep now that i m here.
