Todd and dori, can you tell us a little bit about how his addiction began, and how it progressed . Well, in january of 2015, he had an injury, broke his hand and foot and we took him to the emergency room and everything. He got prescribed painkillers, and we had no idea that he got addicted to painkillers. Now, around october of 2015 his mom found pills in his room. And of course i i was upset. I yelled at him. I said, this is what inmates try to get in the prison system. And thats when he told us about his addiction through painkillers. I looked it up online, educate myself a little bit about it and then went back upstairs to the top of the steps and yelled over to thad, im sorry, i love you. He was on suboxone in an attempt to beat his painkiller . I said, thad, i love you. If anything ever happened to i wouldnt want to live. And then of course we had him in we have a couple, two different times, and the first time he went to rehabin use doing really good, really excited. We need too
