A water crisis is unfolding across the country, as reservoirs run dry and future access to clean water is uncertain. This problem can be addressed by mandating the reuse of "grey water." We must increase efforts to conserve and reuse water before our taps run dry. Our communities are on the precipice of fighting over water. Lightly used water can be diverted from the sewer to save up to 75% of the freshwater used in a home or business. In partnership with organizations like Greywater Action, we need to pass legislation with tax incentives to promote the use of water reuse systems on a massive scale.
