Greyhound Offers Free Rides Home To Runaways
The free passage is available to runaways between the ages of 12 and 21.
According to fox17.com, here are a couple of things you should know about this offer:
Runaways must call the NRS helpline and let them know they want to accept the Greyhound offer. Their number is 1-800-786-2929
The fact that they have run away must have already been reported to the authorities.
NOTE: Many people, law enforcement officials included, think there is a waiting period to do this. There is not.
The free ride offer can only be used twice by the same individual.
the border patrol holds the immigrants only long enough it process them. then as we saw firsthand, releases them at local greyhound stations where they are free to go anywhere. i know that, you know, your unfortunate job is to say what has your unfortunate job is to say what has been done, but what has been done so far has not stemmed the far. the white house can say it all they want, but at some point, people are going to ask, and right now, your own democrats on the hill are asking why it was permitted to happen, to get to this stage. joining us, lauren ashburn and howard kurtz. you think the national media is turning on the president now? i been saying for months the mainstream media are turning against the president, and even the folks at msnbc not getting the thrill anymore. this is the third or fourth problem in a row. and the liberal commentators are disillusions, bummed, they need
it to be this bad. the border patrol holds the immigrants only long enough it process them. then as we saw firsthand, releases them at local greyhound stations where they are free to go anywhere. i know that, you know, your unfortunate job is to say what has your unfortunate job is to say what has been done, but what has been done so far has not stemmed the far. the white house can say it all they want, but at some point, people are going to ask, and right now, your own democrats on the hill are asking why it was permitted to happen, to get to this stage. joining us, lauren ashburn and howard kurtz. you think the national media is turning on the president now? i been saying for months the mainstream media are turning against the president, and even the folks at msnbc not getting the thrill anymore. this is the third or fourth problem in a row. and the liberal commentators are disillusions, bummed, they need
people with open arms to the far-flung ecstasy of american democracy. these people look like they are in for the long haul, but what was the spirit like? ironically, it s so dangerous to go through the desert and to get to be in a cell, a jail cell basically, detention center, and you re safe for the first time. so they re happy because they re feeling like hey, i m alive. so many people die in the desert. that s the whole other humanitarian crisis, how many bodies they re finding in the desert. these are the survivors, the ones that actually made it to the detention center. yeah. that s pretty crazy. so the ground there at the greyhound stations, are these people just being given tickets and give us a sense of if you have a husband and a wife and child together, they get sent back but if you re just a woman with a child, you don t. reminds me of social policies of the 1960s where, if the father was in the home, you got no aid but if he was absent, you got aid.
prisones traps fer them to florence. states can complain and how can we help and sent vaccines and humanitarian aid down there. but nothing they can do. the families who are shipped by bus and essentially abandoned at greyhound stations in phoenix and tucson, is that a legal problem? hard to say. if there is a responsible adult with the people and processed and handed papers and when you get report to a custom and border patrol office for further processing, they are adults and i don t think arizona can keep people out anymore than california can keep okies out in the dust bowl. we hope to have you back. it is it a question of who comes next. look forward to having you back. thank you. glad to be here.
