Both the Terrace RCMP and BC Coroners Service are in the middle of investigating a train incident that took the life of a Terrace woman last week.
At around 6:30 pm on last Monday July 19, the Terrace RCMP got a report from BC Emergency Health Services about a pedestrian who had been hit by a train near the area of Kalum Street and Greig Ave, Terrace.
When front-line officers arrived on the scene they found a woman that was unresponsive under the train. She was pronounced dead at the scene by BC Emergency Health Services.
The BC Coroners Service is conducting their own investigation of the circumstances surrounding this woman’s death.
