crime. this is really a stain where the blood was on the ground. reporter: of all places pastor terry thornton would not expect city crime to end up near his door. he found evidence of a crime scene just a few hours before 200 people arrived for sunday worship. people should feel safe when they talking past the church, but this somehow shatters the safety. two adult men were found with gunshot wounds sunday morning. one victim was shot in the head and back, the other in the face. both died from their injuries. we re not sure if they are related. we have not released the names yet. we are waiting to do next of kin notifications but we are reaching out to the neighborhood in this case. police are checking to see if there are cameras in the area to determine a motive and suspects. james russian got home after the shooting. the block was lit up. the location of the fatal shootings is ironic. the pastor hopes to send a strong message to the garrison hill community.
