Phillip Miller said he felt like he was walking into a spacious new home when he first walked into his 12th-grade classroom in a new three-story building on Wednesday at P. K. Yonge Developmental Research School.
“It was great,” he said. “It was like moving into a new home with the open concept from a home that had like a closed concept. You can see (other classes). I believe it will help me learn better because of the atmosphere. It’s more of a chilled, relaxed atmosphere. I don’t feel like I m being isolated.”
The new $21 million building has no hallways.
