A federal judge has approved the sale of a helicopter surrendered by one of Gov. Jim Justice s coal companies to an Indian construction technology firm. Justice firm appeal vs. South Charleston company dismissed | Energy and Environment

A federal court dismissed an appeal from one of Gov. Jim Justice s coal companies of a six-figure judgment against it in favor of a South Charleston workers’ compensation and employers’ liability insurance provider. Southern Coal had failed to satisfy obligations under a 2015 contract with the provider, BrickStreet Mutual Insurance Co., a federal judge found.
