Voters will elect two candidates apiece for the boards of each of Michigan’s largest universities. The currently unfilled positions wield enormous influence.
Candidates who want to represent the Green Party of Michigan (GPMI) on the November 8 ballot can now qualify to be on a formal list like the ones state and local governments promote for parties included in the August primary.
GPMI has adopted a procedure for candidates to be recognized as seeking the Green nomination for their target offices until the state nominating convention April 23-24 (or a county caucus held sometime between now and the primary).

Capitol Area Greens local in Lansing, she has been endorsed by the
Green Party of Michigan. As a 16-year resident raising five children in Lansing, she has progressive ideas for improving the effects of racism, sexism, transphobia and homophobia resulting from the city s systemic oppression, exemplified by the seven lawsuits pending against the city.
