UK Parliament Lords debates net zero emissions targets 20 April 2021 2021 Members of the Lords will debate the case for the integration of policy-making in national, and local government to achieve net zero carbon emissions in the United Kingdom, on Wednesday 21 April. Speakers include a member of the Energy and Climate Intelligence Unit advisory board and the president of Environmental Protection UK. The debate will take place in Grand Committee, away from the main chamber. Lord Teverson (Liberal Democrat), member of the Energy and Climate Intelligence Unit advisory board, put forward the debate. Members expected to take part include: Baroness Altmann (Conservative), former non-executive director of the Green Deal Finance Co. ....
