Congratulations to the United Way of Central Oklahoma for surpassing its campaign goal and raising $20.4 million for its important health and human service programs. Campaign co-chairs for the 2020 campaign were Judy Love and Mike Turpen.
The organization recently announced its $20,428,686 total amount, noting that more than 19,000 donors and 7,000 workplace campaigns contributed to the total. Last year, United Way funds went to support specific programs of 56 partner agencies serving central Oklahoma, along with funding extra programs such as the COVID-19 Response Fund addressing pandemic-related needs, the Ice Storm Response Fund for emergency relief following the October ice storm and more.
