Birth and death bookend our lives. Natural births have become much more widespread in recent decades, and more people are seeking home birth during the pandemic. At the same time, there’s rising interest in more natural death-care practices, including green burial. Kingston is one of several communities in Ontario where people are seeking to care not only for our bodies at death, but also for the earth to which we return.
