The meeting is intended to provide attendees with important information and insights into the Greeley Police Department, and what it’s plan is moving forward, according to a release by Greeley police. For up to a week after the meeting, citizens can participate in on online survey to express thought and give the department honest feedback.
A Greeley police investigator will not face any charges for shooting at a suspect accused of shooting at police who were investigating outside his home in September.
A Greeley sergeant and officer will not face criminal charges for the fatal shooting of a 35-year-old man who shot at officers while barricaded in his home.
“He was extremely loyal,” Prill said. “He was the backup you wanted when things grew bad. He was the one friend you could always depend on. He would love you deeply and you would easily reciprocate.”
“I’ve asked the organization to do what they think Roy would want them to do, and that is to serve with pride and honor,” Greeley Police Chief Adam Turk said. “Do things that you think Roy would be proud of.”
