good morning to viewers here in the u.s. and around the world. it is monday, june 27th. i m brianna keilar alongside john berman. now what? that s what many americans are asking after the supreme court overturned roe versus wade. now what happens to a woman in texas that wants an abortion? is it illegal for her to travel to colorado to get one? what about abortion pills, can they be mailed? where can t they be mailed? what about the politics? could a republican congress with a republican president put a national ban with abortions in place? what can democrats do, if anything? ten states quickly moved to implement laws effectively banning abortions since friday. some happened automatically with so-called trigger laws. five states expected to enact laws and 26 laws could set laws or set procedure on the limits.
