Rye family Stocking Elves have record year for Operation Blessing

PORTSMOUTH This season of giving, Operation Blessing can point to a few local angels who answered the call to gather the community and donate to the organization’s Great Christmas Giveaway drive.
Molly Daniels, along with her husband, Matt, and their young sons Hunter, Chase and Maverick, delivered about 200 Christmas stockings to the organization’s annual holiday fund in 2019, efforts made possible by collaborating with friends and family, the Rye PTA and Rye Elementary.
In 2020, however, with the desire to show children of the Rye community the importance of hope through charity to others, the Daniels family more than tripled their stocking turnout to nearly 700 for Operation Blessing, earning their newfound holiday tradition the nickname “the Stocking Elves.” This year, Rye PTA also made a monetary contribution to the Stocking Elves fund as well.
