TULSA, OKLA
.-Gilcrease Museum unveiled its concept design for an entirely new facility, reimagining the museum from the ground up. The 83,500-square-foot building will create new opportunities for Gilcrease to explore broad, complex stories of American history, art, and culture. The re-envisioned museum will present a much-improved visitor experience and state-of-the-art exhibition space meeting todays standards for care of the collection and touring exhibitions. The current Gilcrease Museum facility will close to the public on July 5, 2021 for de-installation of the collection in preparation for groundbreaking of the new building in winter 2022. ....

There are dozens of classes to check out, online and in-person throughout the month.
Throughout the Lancaster County region, there are hands-on classes that teach things like how to make a resurrection garden and a succulent planter. Thereâs also a seed swap in Elizabethtown. There also are virtual classes on topics like flower arranging plus virtual talks about growing native plants and more.
The in-person events are limited to small groups and some virtual classes ship materials so donât wait to sign up. Some of the virtual events are selling out quickly as well.
