Fujifilm North America’s Graphic Systems Division has announced that its Graphics Innovation Hub in Hanover Park, Illinois has achieved G7 Master Qualification with Targeted compliance (CRPC6) for its flexographic press, awarded by Idealliance (Alexandria, Virginia), a not-for-profit industry group dedicated to guiding print production best practices, specifications and standards worldwide. In earning this qualification, Fujifilm successfully completed thorough training and examination, ending with Idealliance issuing qualification for its Hanover Park facility. G7 is Idealliance’s set of global standards for achieving gray balance to obtain visual similarity across all print processes. The application of this method enables printers to reproduce a consistent visual appearance across all print types and substrates, which is especially useful in the printing of packaging. ....
