Maharashtra to host 20 cultural festivals across 6 regions Share Maharashtra Tourism announced 20 mini festivals across the six regions of the state i.e. Konkan, Pune, Nashik, Aurangabad, Amravati and Nagpur in February and March to boost tourism. The state tourism department has earmarked an amount of Rs 1 crore for organising these 20 festivals. These marquee festivals will provide exciting opportunities for tourists to celebrate cultural heritage tourism of Maharashtra. Some of the landmark festivals that will be held in Nashik district include Grape Harvesting Festival, Nandur Madhyameshwar Festival, Bhandardara Festival in Ahmednagar district and Laling Fort Festival in Dhule district.
