Dorm safety is an important issue that needs to be addressed. Many college students spend most of the year living in dorms and they should not have to fear for their lives and safety. According to NIU Police Department crime logs from January 2023 and February 2023, there have been a number of crime-related issues.
DeKALB – Starting the fiscal year of 2024, July 2023, room and board fees for Neptune Hall, Gilbert Hall, Grant Towers, Stevenson Towers and Patterson Hall will increase by $200, and room and board fees for Northern View will increase by $100.
