County court adopts budget for Grant County, Oregon | News

The Grant County Court on June 28 unanimously voted to adopt its county budget for the 2023-2024 fiscal year totaling just under $100 million, after an initial approval by the budget committee in May after three months of deliberation.
The adopted budget includes a $12.4 million general fund, cash on hand of $6.2 million – up from the May-approved $5.6 million amount, an unappropriated general fund ending balance of $4.1 million and an operating contingency fund of $455,644.
The adopted total budget of $99.8 million is up about $5 million from $94.8 million in the current fiscal year. It projects a workforce of about 81.57 full-time-equivalent employees for fiscal year 2023-24, up from 81.53 FTE this fiscal year. ....
