Grant Countians stepped up to help those in Eastern Kentucky after massive flooding. Grant County Sheriff Brian Maines and Clerk Tabatha Clemons are two that have made trips to Eastern Kentucky since the disaster. The sheriff’s department donated two cruisers to Letcher County after Maines saw on Facebook their sheriff’s department lost cars in the flood. “The (Kentucky) Sheriff’s Association put out a request—needs for Eastern Kentucky sheriffs that were affected,” Maines said. ....
