As a solo cellist, Julian Lloyd Webber, 69, has performed with many of the world’s greatest orchestras and conductors. In 2014, he was forced to stop playing after sustaining a neck injury. Between 2015 and 2020, he was principal of the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. He now chairs the charity Sistema England, which aims to make music more accessible to children from less privileged backgrounds. ....
