Jazz royalty and three-time Grammy Award-winner Branford Marsalis joins your CSO to perform Ibert s lyrical and soaring Concertino da camera and Schulhoff s jazz-inspired Hot Sonate. Entranced by songs he overheard being sung by a Transylvanian maid, Bartok composed his Romanian Folk Dances - each movement using a melody from a different region of Transylvania.
