PORTLAND – Georgia Lucille Wark, 61, of Portland, died peacefully at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough on April 30, 2021.
Born in Caribou to George and Lucille Wark, Georgia grew up in Woodland. An early photograph of her bears the inscription “Georgia, quite the doll of the family!” She held that title for the next six decades.
Georgia is survived by her mother; and eight of her siblings and closest friends, Gordon (Susan), Gale Stewart (Dave), Gene, Gary, Gretta, Gerard (Susie), Graham (Katrina), and Jim (Christina). She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Derna. ....
