GRAHAM, Texas (TNN) - The Graham Chamber of Commerce first quarterly luncheon is Tuesday at the North Central Texas College.
There are seats available for the quarterly meal, catered by Wildcatter Steakhouse on Tuesday, March 9, according to the chamber.
Brandon Anderson, Graham City Manager will update guests on the state of the city and sponsor, Shana Wolf from Weatherbee Real Estate, will update citizens about Graham’s current real estate market.
The Graham City Council approved a request by the You Lead Class of 2021 to start improvements at Standpipe Mountain, starting with inquiring about the condition of the water tower and obtaining funds to make those improvements.
The Young County You Lead leadership training program is coordinated by the Graham Chamber of Commerce and Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service. Each class contains members from different organizations and groups within Young County and is designed to develop and cultivate community leaders.
Convention and Visitors Bureau Manager Grant Ingram spoke about the project Thursday at the city council meeting. He said from his understanding the base of the water tank has been rusted out and the group is looking to alleviate the burden of this project from the city.
