Rag n Bone Man Uckfield s Rag’n’Bone Man and US superstar P!nk gave a rapturous closing performance at this year’s BRIT Awards. They have now released their version of Anywhere Away From Here with the Lewisham & Greenwich NHS Choir as a charity single. The choir features East and West Sussex members, soprano Camille Hirons from Shoreham, alto Joanne Neophytou-Linn from Brighton and bass Graeme Tyler from Lewes. Money raised will go to the Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Charity and NHS Charities Together, who represent the charities of all NHS Trusts in the UK. Camille Hirons: Camille, from Shoreham, earned her doctorly stripes at University Hospital Lewisham and is now a fully qualified general practitioner in south-east London. With Covid restricting access to GP practices, Camille went to work seeing patients out in the community. She’s now on maternity leave, awaiting the arrival of a little one. ....

Formed in 2012 for a BBC programme with choirmaster Gareth Malone, the choir went on to catch the attention of the Canadian pop star in 2015, when their single was vying with Bieber s for the Christmas number one spot. The multi-millionaire told everyone to back the choir, securing them the top slot. But Bieber, who teamed up with the NHS workers again after asking them to collaborate on a charity Christmas single of a new version of his UK hit, Holy, must now surely be relegated to second place in the NHS choir s hall of fame. ....
