CHED OKs limited face-to-face classes in 13 HEIs in Region 12 03 Jun 2021, 16:38 GMT+10 KORONADAL CITY, South Cotabato, June 3 (PIA) Thirteen higher education institutions (HEIs) offering health-related programs in Region XII have been granted authority by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) to conduct limited face-to-face classes for the Academic Year 2021 - 2022. The Commission, through the CHED Regional Office XII, has approved the applications of some HEIs in the Region to conduct limited face-to-face classes for the new school year during the pandemic, after a series of ocular visits to assess their compliance to requirements under the Joint Memorandum Circular (JMC) No. 2021 - 001 of CHED and the Department of Health (DOH) on the Guidelines on the Gradual Reopening of Campuses of Higher Education Institutions for Limited Face-to-Face Classes during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

(Manila PIO photo) CALOOCAN CITY, June 2 (PIA)  Manila Mayor Francisco Isko Moreno Domagoso on Tuesday, June 1, approved the request of four more schools in the city to conduct limited face-to-face classes for their medical and allied health programs.  All approved, Domagoso told the schools representatives from the University of the Philippines (UP) Manila, Emilio Aguinaldo College (EAC), PHINMA St. Jude College (SJC), and National University (NU), in a meeting held at the Manila City Hall. The four are the latest ones allowed to resume limited face-to-face classes.
