Dorothy and Jim Tice
EAST LIVERPOOL High school sweethearts Jim and Dorothy Tice will be celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary. The former Dorothy Mae Stoakes, daughter of the late Ruth and John Stoakes, became the bride of James R. Tice, the son of the late Bea and Bob Tice, on March 10, 1956 at the Grace United Presbyterian Church in East Liverpool . George Parfitt was best man and Barbara Richardson Noonan served as maid of honor.
The Tices are lifelong residents of East Liverpool. Jim retired from Crucible Steel in 1983 and the Columbiana County Health Center in 1999. He most recently worked at Alpha Care. Dorothy worked at City Hospital, also retiring in 1999.
